Chris Mason is an IT Service Manager at Truepoint Wealth Counsel with a diverse background spanning military service, project management, software development, and cybersecurity . A Marine Corps veteran, Chris served in the infantry, was selected as a Presidential Guard at Camp David in 2007, and completed a tour in Iraq in 2009. His military experience helped shape the disciplined and security-focused approach he brings to technology and risk management today. Chris earned his undergraduate degree in History and Political Science from the University of Cincinnati before beginning his career in project management within the pharmaceutical and medical device industries. While working in highly regulated environments, he developed a strong interest in information technology, eventually transitioning into software development and Agile leadership as a Scrum Master. Over the past several years, Chris has focused his work and graduate studies on cybersecurity and digital privacy law, completing his MBA at Northern Kentucky University in 2026. Today, he combines his operational, technical, and leadership experience to help organizations navigate cybersecurity risks, digital privacy challenges, and the practical realities of protecting users in an increasingly connected world.
