Tamara has more than 20 years experience in nonprofit management. As the Executive Director of L3 she is responsible for the day to day operations of the organization, as well as guiding and supporting the Board in their long-range plans and objectives of L3. Prior to joining L3, Mrs. Hale was managing director of The First Tee Greater Austin, managing director of Austin Lyric Opera and vice president of member service and resource development at the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce. Earlier in her career she was vice president for board and volunteer services at the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, assistant to the president at Robert Morris College and associate director of development at Carnegie Mellon University. A graduate of Carnegie Mellon, she is married to Don Hale. They live in Atlanta, Georgia and have two children, Paige and Reide. Read Tammy’s complete resume.
As the onsite event manager for L3, Debbie is responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service during our travel programs. She works with our onsite vendors to coordinate flawless delivery of programming and services. Debbie supports the president in travel vendor selection and trip planning. She was raised near Pittsburgh, studied voice and piano at Carnegie Mellon University, received a bachelor’s degree in finance from Robert Morris University and master’s of education degree in mathematics from Duquesne University. Debbie has had a long career in the service and sales industry and has taught math at the high school level. She is married to Jim and they have one child, A.J.
Ashley coordinates all L3 communications. She produces the quarterly newsletters, email communications, marketing materials, produces web content, edits the website and manages all other communication efforts.Ashley was born and raised in Austin, where she was a successful photographer for many years preceding her decision to pursue a career in Web Design. She presently lives in San Saba, Texas with her husband and daughter. She continues to dabble in photography, when she is not kept busy with all her other interests.
As the Operations Manager, Michael keeps the organization running day-to-day, managing member relationships, coordinating calls and meetings, billing, and assisting in membership development. Michael was raised in Seattle, WA and attended Seattle Pacific University where he received his B.A. in Political Science-Public Policy in 2006. He currently lives in San Antonio, Texas.
